Wondering where to shop newborn outfits? Then you’re in luck, I’m sharing a few of my favorite places to shop newborn styles for the hospital, go-home looks, portraits, family meet-ups, and more!
First, let’s talk about a few things to keep in mind when you start to shop for newborn outfits. Newborns are smaller than you think, if there is a newborn size option, you’ll want to go with that. There’s nothing worse than planning an outfit for photo sessions that is falling off your tiny little one. I love a pretty print as much as the next person but if you’re choosing an outfit for portraits, I also recommend keeping it simple and timeless. If you choose a print go with dainty or soft colors!
I understand how overwhelming it can be to find the perfect outfit for your perfect tiny human. Here are my favorite places to shop newborn outfits.
Newborn Gowns
If you don’t want to worry about the fit, I recommend selecting a knotted gown for your little one. These are great and a super trendy look for hospital announcement photos. However, not a good choice for the going-home outfit as it won’t allow you to buckle them easily in the car seat.
There are tons of great places to shop for this type of look but two of my favorites are Caden Lane and Lou Lou & Company. Caden Lane has a better selection for personalized looks while Lou Lou & Company has a much wider selection of colors and patterns.
Organic Newborn Outfits
If you’re looking for organic and beautiful options, you’ll want to check out Quincy Mae and Jamie Kay. These stores have a little higher starting price point than some of the other options listed here but are also some of my very favorites. They offer some beautiful delicate and soft colors and patterns.
Zara is another go-to brand I love that offers beautiful styles and organic options.
Budget-Friendly Newborn Outfits
H&M and Carter’s are great options if you are on a budget but still want your baby to look on trend. Not to mention how quickly they grow out of outfits, especially newborn sizes. H&M truly has so many adorable looks for a great price. The ones I’m showing here are just the tip of the iceberg. Plus, H&M offers some of my favorite Disney styles too! Carter’s is perfect if you’re last-minute shopping. You can find this brand anywhere and can trust that the quality will hold up through anything your little one can (and will) throw your way.
