It was an absolutely perfect fall day for maternity photos in Green, Ohio. Maternity sessions are one of my very favorite seasons of life to capture. There is so much joy, excitement, and change that I believe is so important to document. You can feel the joy of this family, the excitement of soon-to-be big sis, and the love that they have for each other.

One of my favorite little moments from the session is when I asked Abigail to get in the photo with her mom. She jumps right in and you can feel her excitement as she looks up at her mom. Then Allie leaned down to give her a little kiss. The authenticity of this moment melts my heart every time I look at these images.

Special Prayer for Baby

I always end my maternity photo sessions with a simple request. I ask my couples to hold hands and say a silent prayer, set an intention, or envision their baby in their life. Maybe you’ve done this by yourself or casually talked about it together. However, there’s something special about this moment captured forever. My hope is that long after your baby has arrived, you can look at this photo and it brings you back to everything you felt in this moment.
